You will taken on a soft walking track of trees and herbs in the countryside – seeing, smelling and tasting the variety of spices, herbs and mouth watering tropical seasonal fruits including jackfruit, pineapple, green coconut and many others….

JOZANI FOREST

The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is a 50 Km2 national park located on Zanzibar island. It is the only national park in Zanzibar. This forest is inhabited by the Zanzibar Red Colobus, an endemic monkey species that exists only in Zanzibar.

Discover the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre (ZBC) – a community and environmental project located in Pete village next to Jozani-Chwaka Bay National Park.

Timing: full day excursion (Lunch is not included).

What to take with you: walking shoes, mosquito repellant, some money if you wish to buy spices, oils and other products available at the farm.
