Your expedition begins early in the morning, around 07:00 AM, boarding a traditional motorized boat to set out into the calm, dawn waters. Kizimkazi is the cherished home of both Bottle-nosed and Humpback dolphins. While nature always holds its own schedule, our guests have recorded a staggering 90% success rate for sightings. After a short and scenic boat trip from the village, you will often find these playful mammals gliding alongside the hull or leaping through the waves.
Dive into the Blue
For those seeking a truly immersive experience, this tour offers the incredible chance to swim with dolphins at a very close distance. Imagine the thrill of sliding into the crystal-clear Indian Ocean and witnessing the grace of these animals beneath the surface. To ensure you don’t miss a moment of the underwater magic, we provide all the necessary snorkeling gear. After your time in the water, we return to the shore where a comfortable transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel by midday.
Your Experience at a Glance
This is a half-day excursion specifically timed to maximize your chances of success. Early morning is the absolute best time for sightings, as the waters are calm and the dolphins are most active. While lunch is not included in the standard package, many of our guests choose to elevate their day by adding a spectacular lunch at the world-famous Rock Restaurant on the way back.
What to pack for your island getaway:
- Sun Protection: The reflection of the sun on the water is powerful, so please bring plenty of sun cream and a hat.
- Swimwear & Towels: Essential for your transition from the boat to the ocean and back.
- A Waterproof Camera: If you have one, this is the perfect time to use it to capture the dolphins in action.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Please note that any booking cancelled less than 12 hours in advance will be charged 50 % of the total price.
Any cancellation done less than 6 hours will be fully charged.
Children from 5 to 11 years will be charged 50% of the adult price (sharing with 2 adults for a maximum of 3 children)
A child of 12 years will be charged as an adult.
For a private car during your excursion, a supplement of 15% will be applicable since the prices are for shared excursions.
A 5 % bank fees will be added to the total invoice if you wish to pay by credit card
