Day 1

06h15   Departure from the Hotel Reception (transfer included)

08h00   Flight to Selous—Stieglers air strip (stop over in Dar)

09h20   Welcome tea or coffee upon arrival

Boat excursion. Sleep at the Serena Tented Camp.

Day 2

River Safari or Game Drive

15h25 Schedule Flight to Zanzibar—Stieglers air strip 17h00 Back to hotel by mini bus

The park varies from rolling grassy woodlands and plains, to rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River – the lifeblood of the park, whose tributaries form a network of lakes, lagoons and channels. Volcanic hot springs even burst forth in places. The Rufiji offers a superb method of game viewing especially during the dry season when animals congregate.

What to take with you: walking shoes, mosquito repellant, sun cream, hat, safari cloths and a good camera
